Underwater
World tucked away down at the bottom of Rock-a-Nore in Hastings Old
Town is a wonder of underwater delight. Marvel at the wide variety of
life our local waters and shoreline hold. Commune with the rays, gaze
at the prancing seahorses, gasp at the sharks as they swim around you
as you stand in the underwater tunnel. Beautiful and magical creatures
abound, and all shown in a re-created natural habitat to give you a real
Underwater
World experience.
Smugglers Adventure - Relive the danger and excitement that faced the bootleggers and customs men in a labyrinth of tunnels, caverns, and dark, dank passages that hide the secrets of the blood thirsty age of smuggling.
The
Stade Amusement Park in Hastings Old Town features a wide variety of rides,
video games, shops, and cafes. With a ghost train, bumper cars, carousel,
pedal-boars, go-karts, and mini-rollercoaster there is plenty to keep
the kids amused while you sit in the sun and enjoy an ice-cream! Further
along the seafront towards the town centre you will find trampolines,
and both miniature and crazy golf. While on the opposite side of the road
there are more amusement arcades and a bingo hall! There
are no shortage of cafes, restaurants, ice-cream and seaside rock shops,
as well as the mandatory fish and chip shops!
Clambers Childrens Play Centre is fantastic fun both indoors and out! Should your visit to Hastings fall on one of those typically wet English days and you don't fancy dragging the kids around in the rain then Clambers is a great choice to keep them amused! Grab yourself a magazine or book and relax in the Clambers cafe while the kids keep themselves amused on the amazing adventure play areas including climbing frames, scramble nets, tarzan ropes, ball ponds and a super slide! Even if it's a nice day it's worth a visit with the wonderful outdoor play area including another massive climbing frame, underground tunnel and playhouses, as well as a huge paddling pool and sandpit. Take a picnic and let the kids play while you wallow away the hours lazing in the sun!
